Last month we launched a
design contest to
crowdsource cheeky graphics of Russian president Vladmir Putin and Australian prime minister Tony Abbott
shirt-fronting each other after Abbott told a press gathering he'd raise the MH17 tragedy directly with Vladmir Putin at the G20 summit over the weekend. At this year's summit, the world's press captured the tensions between Putin and Abbott but no shirt-fronts were reported between the pair, although Canada's prime minister Stephen Harper came
close.

The G20 summit is over but thanks to DesignCrowd's designers we now know what really happened behind the scenes at this year's G20 summit.
The brief asked designers to create satirical graphics of the G20 leaders behind the scenes specifying the leaders should be placed in controversial and humorous settings with the purpose of bringing some much needed comic relief to the serious gethering. Designers from around the world including Australia, France, USA, Guatemala, and Philippines took part. From pool parties and boy bands to the movies and power lunches, it's clear Barack, Tony, Xinjing, Francois, Angela and co had a ball in Brisbane. Enjoy!

@Stevenphillips23: After a hard day's work at the G20 Summit, I would assume the leaders would have a movie night. Cheeky Xi Jinping would be stealing Barack's popcorn, King Abdullah would be sipping on a frozen Coke, David Cameron forgot to buy his Choc-top, but there's no way Mr. Abbott would want to snuggle up to Vladimir - to his bemusement of course...
