Earlier this month, Australian prime minister Tony Abbott threatened to "shirtfront" Vladmir Putin over MH17 tragedy at the upcoming G20 summit in Brisbane, those fighting words led to headlines around the world including Time Magazine, New York Times, The Guardian, tech blog Mashable and naturally lit up the twittersphere.
We thought it was a pretty
cheap remark BUT we did wonder what it would look like if Australia's self-confessed sports-loving prime minister battled it out with President of Russia, who also happens to be a former KGB spy, bear-wrestling, judo black belt master. Yep, a pretty tough guy. So, who would win?
We launched a contest and invited the design community to create their own graphics depicting Tony Abbott and Vladmir Putin as physical opponents. Submissions ranged from boxing matches, to a pillow fight, Mortal Kombat demo, Fight Club and even a roller derby battle. Enjoy!
