You know the feeling. You're sat happily watching a classic film and recalling how you saw it for the first time "just the other year".
Then boom. You fact-check the release date and the warm nostalgia is replaced by the stark realization that decades have passed since you were first in the cinema enjoying it.
Titanic is 20 years old next year! TWENTY! Forrest Gump was an early 1990s film. And we've already gone past the future featured in Back to the Future.
No wonder Leo, Kate, Tom, MJF et al. look baby faced! They were pretty fresh when they performed those parts. And don't even get us started on Drew Barrymore in E.T...
Many of those actors have kicked on from early stardom to remain famous years later. And so we here at DesignCrowd wondered what it would look like if they reprise their early roles today.
We asked our creative community to imagine older famous faces in original scenes from their classic movies.
Some would scrub up remarkably well in the roles - Sean Connery as James Bond, Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise, and Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction, have all still got it. Haley Joel Osment in The Sixth Sense and Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone...we'll leave it to you to decide.
So for a glimpse of 'if now appeared then', scroll down for our favorites or visit the gallery pages for all the entries.
