In this post, we present four tips to help you find and invite the best designers on DesignCrowd to your graphic design project. Before you start searching for designers, you will have written up a clear and concise design brief.
Is your project budget set? Check. Now it's time to search for awesome designers. With over 420,000 designers on the site, DesignCrowd makes it easy to find the most suitable designers for your project.
#1. Find the Top Designers
Register an account or login. Use DesignCrowd's 'Find A Designer' tool. If you’re looking to invite some great Web Designers to join your project, you can easily filter our list of Designers by ranking, review, earnings and create a list of the top web designers. You can also do this for other types of crowdsourced design categories - there are over 40 design services on DesignCrowd.
#2. Filter the Designers
On the left-hand side, you can filter the "Type of Designer" based on your design category and then click "Filter" at the bottom. This will then filter the designers and display the top designers for the project type.
You can click “View Portfolio” to take a look at their recent design submissions or just look at their statistics (Ranking, Feedback and Earnings)

#3. Send the Invite
If you like the designer's work, just click on the green "Invite Designer" button beside the name of the Designer. The designer will then show up on the right-hand side of the page (like a short-list).
You can select up to 10 designers to add to this shortlist and then click the final "Invite to Project" button at the bottom of the shortlist.
Just select the "Open Project" you wish to invite designers to and your invites will now be sent out.
#4. Check Out Top Designs From Past Contests

Another tip when selecting designers is to check out the recently finished design contests. You can view submitted designs for similar projects to your own and view the original brief and budget. It's also an easy way to uncover designers to invite to your project.
By way of illustration, if you currently have a Brochure Design Project, you can just visit the "Recent Contest Page" to see the most recent Brochure Design Contests hosted on DesignCrowd. Click on the "Title of the Contest" to go to the "Contest Page" and see all the Submissions.

Just below the winning design, you see all the submissions for the contest.
Invite the Designer
See a design that you liked? Click on the name of the designer to take you to the "Designer’s Portfolio" page. Just click on the green "Get a Design From Me" button which will show you the option to invite the designer to your project. You will also see a display of the designer's current designs.
Tip: The first design is the winning design and so it is highly recommended to invite the designer.
